I just conquered up an awesome Book of Life RP idea if that's alright
It goes something like this:A teenage girl in the modern day is researching Halloween and is trying to find more information on the Mexican Holiday and when she can't find anything in the museum she is led to a room with the Book of Life, but she is caught by the security guard, but after she explains he decides to help her and shares with her a story about the holiday and one of a foolish gods' son who falls in love with a mortal girl named Rose (Daughter of Manolo and Maria) and how their glimpse encounter as children later reunites them when he wagers his father that if he can win Rosa's heart that he wants to discards his title as a god to be with her (Because he doesn't want to be tied down with a HUGE responsibility to ruling either Realm, but will later learn the importance of it). This has him having to assume a human form to visit her and when he finds her will go to great length to win her heart while keeping his true identity a secret.
Course it wouldn't be a story without a villain-The Villain is a god known as Zerah the God of Void/Abyss who rules over the Land of Abyss/Void between remembered and forgotten where poor souls who have been forgotten or abandoned come and its quite a dreary place-He sets his eyes on Rosa and a magical and glorious journey begins.
