As the old year rolls by
A new year takes its place
A new chapter in the book of life
For every being on Earth
A time for resolutions
To lose weight
To fall in love
To make dreams true
New opportunities
New chances
New beginnings
New hope
We all grow a year older
We get wiser and braver
We live our lives differently
We all share the same blue sky
Some people fear change
They fear the unknown
Of what the next year brings
That makes them doubt their future
The future isn't set in stone
Nobody can put a date on anything
Those who believe in such nonsense
Are just as foolish as the crazies
The future is how we make it
We have time to make changes
To make the world a better place
For all of us to live happily in
People may make you believe
That something awful will happen
Those who think they know such rubbis
Their just trying to deceive the mind
Its time you stood on your own feet
Believe in what you believe in
Not in those who spout lies
But within yourself to find the truth
All of us we'll keep living
As each new year passes by
Giving us enough time
To make dreams come true
Life is an endless cycle
It is a neverending story
With billions of tales
That'll fill a gigantic library
Each life having its own story
As a new year comes
So comes a new chapter
In the lives of Humans
As years pass
Comes new generations
We pass our knowledge to
As they grow up
We should not deny
Dreams and Hope
Of the younger ones
Telling them there is no future
That is a lie
There is a future
For all of us
As long as we believe
So let us not deny the new year
With fear and doubt
But welcome it with open arms
As it comes into our lives
Let us live our days happily
Discard the fear of doubt
Look toward the bright blue sky
With a smile on your face
As long as the birds sing
As the fish still swim
The wind blowing peacefully
As the flowers grow lovely
As long as we believe in ourselves
To believe on the lighter side of life
To keep hope and faith in our hearts
We can see the bright future for all of us
As we continue to go about life
With hope in our hearts
Toward a brighter tomorrow for us
As we look toward the new year

This is a poem about the New Year. 
Although this poem has a message for everyone out there-Young and Old about there being a brighter tomorrow for all of us.
As a new year comes-there comes new opportunities and chances to make our dreams come true, to make great changes to shape our lives for the better and enjoying each day as we keep going about our business.
its true the future isn't set in stone and NOBODY should ever try to set it in stone to bring doubt and fear to others out there. You must stand on your two feet and believe in your own beliefs than being fooled by "falsies" who cloud your mind with sorrow and misery to make you believe there is no future.
But there is a future for all-The young and old. If we discard the doubts of fear and look toward tomorrow with hope in our hearts-Hope for a brighter tomorrow for all then we have nothing to fear.
I know new years can be full of doubts and fear of what'll happen-but we should not think of the negativitiy, but the positivity. A new year is a new chapter in our lives to do the impossible and make it possible.
We also can't deny the future of the young ones who have dreams in their hearts that they wish to make true one day-when they grow up will bring great changes to this world. We must always assure them and everyone out there that there is a bright tomorrow and how life will keep going on no matter what people say.
I believe that if we discard the foolishness and keep faith, hope and love in our hearts and work together to change our ways to improve this world and make it much better-Then the future will look brighter for us and the next generation.
