The dream you've created is crumbling..
The life you're leading isn't real.
Your memories are nothing but lies.

Look beyond the window.
Sneak a peak into this reality;
this isn't some lovely paradise.
This is Hell on Earth.

I'm sorry, precious child.
I wish you didn't have to see the decay.
I never wanted you to witness
how cruel life truly is.

You can't go back to sleep,
you can't forget what you've learned.
The knowledge will stay with you from now on.
You can't go back to innocence.

FriendsI may not have a lot of friends,
But does it bother me?

No, not one bit,
For I don't need a lot of friends
To make me happy.

I choose to keep the people
I know I can trust by my side,
Someone who I know will be there
To pick me up when I fall,
Someone that won't judge me,
Someone that will give me
A shoulder to cry on and a hand to hold.

I don't waste my time with rude,
Selfish, lying bastards.

Hurtful SenseShe whispers amongst the ones who own her pieces,
And shuns the ones who do poor,
Turn their backs toward her,
or shove her to the floor.

She takes the hands of those she trusts,
And spills her glass of secrets,
To him,
To her,
To those she must,
To stay alive in this broken soul.

Slowly canibals are eating her inside out,
Her toes rock cold and stiff,
Her breath steady,
Laughing along,
Burning match to skin.

The only place to run to is regretted,
Decisions become conflict,
Hope smashed with tears,
Clawing at what's left of the hair,
That stands on end.
Always living in fear.

The worst part is,
She can't pin down the fe

Anthem Of SilenceSilence is my anthem
My dear, if you refuse to sing along
You already are
The unspoken war is waging
Against the ones who are waging
The spoken war
Against the truth of which
The silent ones hold so dear
So dear to their hearts
They hold this truth
But this truth is solely
That which they will not speak of
So against the ones who began the war
Against the truth the silent ones held so dear
The silent ones shall war
Until their unspoken truth they hold so dear
So close to their hearts
Is spoken of once again

Accept meWhy can't you learn?

DepressionShe stands on the edge of the lonely abyss
Contemplates jumping to death's final kiss.
Anger and bitterness fire through her veins
Silently she waits as strength slowly drains.

No life is allowed near, just rock ash and sand,
This place is her mood, just a barren wasteland.
Though suffered before this type of bout.
She cant break free, no way out, no way out

Harsh wind whips through tousled hair
Its haunting cry echo's her mounting despair.
Heart beats so weak, beginning to list.
So tense her stance, hand gripped into fist.

Gasping for air that refuses to come,
Skin so cold, her time so near to be done.
Feeling so dizzy, close t

Don't go, don't leaveDon't go...
I'll never go I'll never leave.
Will you be there beside me?
Everyday I'll be there
every step I'll be there.
Why did you have to die,
why did you have to go?
I don't know,
they say all things happen for a reason.
But why here, why now?
This is something I can't talk out
I don't know why but that's just how it has happened.
What if I go will I see you there?
Only if you live as you should
live life true, long and fair.
What if I'm left alone?
You'll never be alone,
you'll never be truly alone,
for we will always be here beside you,
even when you can't see us
we will be there for you,
to wipe the tears away,

Dandelion PetalsSitting under the shade of an oak tree
Soft summer breezes ruffling my hair.

Two hours to go
A long time to wait

A childhood game
lurking in my memory.

In my hand
A small dandelion
Plenty of petals
No way to know.

One at a time
I pluck them all off
Every last one
Not a single one missed.

Under my breath
I mutter
As another yellow stem falls free
     He loves me
               He loves me not...
     He loves me

toys:somethingthere's something in the way
your legs fold like paper planes
and the sun rebounds off of you like
bouncy balls from the racks;
how your eyes are colored with books
from a palette of words.

there's something about how you laugh
because it isn't a jack in the box, it's one of music
and how your fingers curl like a little boy's
around my fingers, like I'm the thing you carry everywhere;
how your voice is as calm as elevator music
but as funny as a bell

there's something in the way you think
because it's like a spinning top
with whirring color

Unfinished PortraitThe greatest artist in my first grade class
Drew me a picture.
It's unfinished, of course,
(Because great art takes time,
And it was only a thirty minute class.)
The sunset's half violet and half white,
And the grass is green straw that we float above.
There are two girls who aren't holding hands.
(You knew already I didn't like to be touched)
We're both wearing blue and facing the sunset.
(I couldn't help but feel like you were a princess in your dress,
While I was just a lowly servant in her jeans.)
You scribbled a signature,
(You knew cursive already?)
And I took it home.

In sixth grade, we'd both grown up into people someo

Trying to TryI feel so low
I try to stand tall
But you're so much taller
and I'm just too afraid to fall

I feel like i don't try
I don't try enough in anything
I see it all around me
Those people who tried
I really do try to try
But I can't seem to defeat it
Defeat that beast that guards the gate
the gate that leads beyond average

When will i defeat the beast?

The memiors of a poet...A poet is no mere
artist, that incites and writes,
- but dares to
fabricate, the nothings into
- - extrasensory realities,
beyond all imagination.

Like a painter,
the poet needs oil & ink,
- to set the eyes
and mental capacity,
- - into a hypnotized state
of suggestive attention.

As a quilter,
the poet weaves
- embroidered tapestries
with spectrum;
- - that only prisms
could master -
- - - with simple imagery.

The poet revives,
the deadened, flat soul
- of sentence,
to have a personified
- - existence among our
world of third dimension.

The poet's life,
isn't just a joy
- but a pain;
to tell the world
- - from their hands
littered with

Heroes Are HereGot nowhere to run
Got nowhere to hide
Here we come now
Bad guys better beware

Within the darkness
Light shines bright
As the protectors emerge
Ready to save the day

The heroes are here
Got our powers charged
Our friends got our back
Were a force to be reckon with

Ready to send evil packing
Once we get them going
We'll send them back
To the abyss where they belong

Were the good guys
Here on the scene
To save the day
Make everything alright

When there's evil afoot
You know we'll get the job done
Get the cuffs on them
Send them packing to jail

Criminals better fear them
The good guys are on the case
When evil raises it

Perfect FamilyJust take away the:
Screaming,
fighting,
hatred,
lies,
tear filled eyes,
and everything but smiles and laughs,
and you have yourself the perfect family.

I gave the wind - the pow'rI gave the wind
the pow'r to move
my fragile little soul

I gave the sun
the pow'r to breathe
new life into my pores

I found the clouds
and wandered with them
on their weary way

I waited for
their rumblings to
deluge upon me, rain

I touched the edges
of the sky, and wished
upon a star

I let the moonbeams
of night mend
my body and my heart.

Lies a paradise
For artists like us
To express our creativity

A website known as Deviantart
Where all art is welcomed
No matter it be a poem
Perhaps a lovely painting

Be it a motivation poster
Stories from favorite shows
Doodles of our characters
Anything that is art

Lets protect it together
Live in harmony side by side
Holding hands as one
As were all friends here

Its an interesting world
Where anything is possible
Its like an artist's paradise
To express their creative soul
