You’ve got me playing your silly game For far too long that I can’t remember When it first began You’ve won every time But now I’m calling the shots. Every trap you set I leap like a gizelle to avoid the snap Each pitfall I found myself in I crawled right out in a second. It’s the same old pattern All the tricks you’ve pulled I see right through them You can’t pull the wool over my eyes. You had your fun But the table’s been flipped Pieces scatter against the floor Table placed back up While I set up a new game. You won’t know what’s in store You can’t predict these moves You got no power ups You got no “Get out of Jail” card For this is a game You can’t win. It was an illuminating afternoon at Guardian Academy, an elite school that educated Harmonia’s best and greatest students to become tomorrow’s protectors to ensure the safety and well-being of their realm. At this moment, three guardian apprentices: Kaira Starlight, Minty Peppermint, and Giovanni Linguini were traversing the courtyard as a shortcut to the library. As part of their studies, their required to join an after school club to choose from a wide variety of activities: Monster Hunting, History and Lore, Botany Lovers Club, the list kept going. Happy NEW YEAR! Welcome 2023, may you be a year that's much better and kinder. May dreams come true and passion burning bright. Less Drama and LESS IDIOCRACY from both in the Real World and at home. Feeling under the weather these past couple days. It sucks especially when dealing with a stuffy nose and mini fever. I'm feeling a little better today, but not 100% yet and I was able to sleep well last night compared to Saturday night when I felt as though I was wrestling with a nightmare demon while trying to get a wink of sleep let alone try to dream as I sleep. Been resting, drinking plenty of fluids, healing music, and having plenty of chicken noodle soup to drive this big out of me.
